"The prophetic community is somewhat divided over whether or not America is the “Babylon the Great” mentioned in Revelation 17-18. Others believe this term was the Roman Empire of Jesus’ day and/or the modern-day Catholic Church based in Rome."
"Many believe that Babylon’s origin goes all the way back to Babel in Genesis 11. Babylon is also mentioned in the Old Testament in places like Isaiah 21:1-10 and Jeremiah 50-51. There was also Babylon in Daniel’s time, which some believe will literally be restored in the future, since the city of Babylon still exists in modern-day Iraq. Still others believe that Babylon is a metaphor for the rampant End-Times Apostasy, the False Church of the last days."
"It can be exhausting and frustrating to consider each viewpoint. Even more troubling is the fact that Babylon the Great is expeditiously and completely destroyed."
"Let’s look at some aspects of Babylon the Great that are mentioned in Revelation. It is easy to see how America has brought prosperity to the earth, yet has caused the world to get drunk on her adulteries (Rev. 18:3). It also has a vast shoreline that would put its destruction in plain view (vs. 17-18). There are several other compelling similarities. However, our country has not yet come even remotely close to persecuting and martyring Christians (17:6 & 18:24). Currently in America there are only rare cases of persecution, and they pale in comparison to what millions of believers in other countries have endured and continue to endure on a daily basis."
"Another problem I have with the “America-equals-Babylon” viewpoint is that I sense there are strong and deeply rooted hints of nationalistic pride in the hearts of some of those who believe our country is God’s best yet also worst creation ever. God is not sitting on his throne draped in our flag and speaking English, but He does deeply care for every soul."
"Lastly, my main hurdle with staking a vehement claim that America is now Babylon the Great is that it means you have to completely ignore the Middle Eastern context of the Bible. Yes, Revelation is perhaps the main book in God’s Word that speaks of what happens to the whole earth, and America could be Babylon. But, in my opinion, this cannot be proven until all of the events of Revelation have taken place."
"For what it’s worth, I have also investigated a rather compelling case that Saudi Arabia is actually Babylon the Great. With the decadent lifestyle of the sheiks, getting the world “drunk” on oil, the country’s persecution of Christians (primarily in the form of beheading), its strategic Middle East location between the Red Sea and Persian Gulf, etc., there are many similarities to consider."
"At this point though, my opinion is that neither nation (nor any other) perfectly fits the description of Babylon the Great in the Bible – yet. And the hour is late, so the true identity will probably be revealed soon."
"My bottom line: At the very least, America has the spirit of Babylon the Great, and that is enough for me to have grave concern for our country’s future. What’s worse, the main cause of this spirit, in my mind, is the failure of the American Church. The Body of Christ has made the downward progression from being the driving force at our nation’s founding to being (spiritually) anemic and lazy pew sitters who don’t live different from the country’s non-believing population. We’ve turned a blind eye to sin and actually built our “faith” around self-indulgence, believing that God owes us whatever we ask."
"We desperately need repentance and revival, but at this point, it will likely only occur after the country “has been brought to ruin” (18:17). I’m sorry for such a dreary outlook, but a Holy and Righteous God will not be mocked by a nation whose bedrock was to fear and obey Him, but now no longer does."
Personally, I believe that the United States is the Mystery Babylon nation the Bible speaks of, that will be annhialated. As events line up with Bible Prophecy to enable Russia to attempt to invade Israel, the day of America's destruction draws ever nearer. The Church, I think, will be Raptured first, as indicated in the next section. But that is not the only possibility, and maybe America will be destroyed before the Rapture and Tribulation. Nations rise and nations fall, and God sets their boundaries. "All hell on earth" will be let loose with these destructions, of America, during World War III, and during the seven year long Tribulation Period.
"I believe the best inference of Scripture is that the Rapture will occur at the beginning of the Tribulation. The most important reason I believe this has to do with the issue of imminence."
"Over and over in Scripture we are told to watch for the appearing of the Lord. We are told “to be ready” (Matthew 24:44), “to be on the alert” (Matthew 24:42), “to be dressed in readiness” (Luke 12:35), and to “keep your lamps alight” (Luke 12:35). The clear force of these persistent warnings is that Jesus can appear at any moment."
"Only the pre-Tribulation concept of the Rapture allows for the imminence of the Lord’s appearing for His Church. When the Rapture is placed at any other point in time, the imminence of the Lord’s appearing is destroyed because other prophetic events must happen first."
"For example, if the Rapture is going to occur in mid-Tribulation, then why should I live looking for the Lord’s appearing at any moment? I would be looking instead for an Israeli peace treaty, the rebuilding of the Temple, and the revelation of the Antichrist. Then and only then could the Lord appear."
"This raises the issue of what we are to be looking for. Nowhere are believers told to watch for the appearance of the Antichrist. On the contrary, we are told to watch for Jesus Christ. In Titus 2:13 Paul says we are to live “looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.” Likewise, Peter urges us to “fix our hope completely on the grace to be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:13). John completes the apostolic chorus by similarly urging us to “fix our hope on Him” at His appearing (1 John 3:2-3)."
"Only Matthew speaks of watching for the Antichrist (Matthew 24:15), but he is speaking to the Jews living in Israel in the middle of the Tribulation when the Antichrist desecrates the rebuilt Temple."

Marxianity: Merging Marxism & Christianity
The Trump election has now exposed how absolutely corrupt the American Deep State is. The Nation is now totally divided. We are now witnessing the coup attempt of Marxist Socialism against the United States government. They thought they had it with the election of Hillary Clinton, but that failed. And that failure has Satan raging! The powers and Principalities are stirred up to ferocious battle around us. The life of the Republic is at risk. Many of our young people have no clue about the dangers of Socialism, or about the benefits of retaining our Republic. They are brainwashed and pitiful in their ignorance. The impending death of our just government and our Godly Church in America is explained in these studies of Marxianity.

"And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." - Genesis 2:16-17
"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die." - Genesis 3:1-3
And now you know the philosophy prevailent in the programming coming out of Hollywood and the secular media! It is called programming because it is meant to desensitize and program you!
And then there are politics: "I have spoken of a thousand points of light, of all the community organizations that are spread like stars throughout the Nation, doing good. We will work hand in hand, encouraging, sometimes leading, sometimes being led, rewarding. We will work on this in the White House, in the Cabinet agencies. I will go to the people and the programs that are the brighter points of light, and I will ask every member of my government to become involved. The old ideas are new again because they are not old, they are timeless: duty, sacrifice, commitment, and a patriotism that finds its expression in taking part and pitching in." - George H. W. ... Do You Have Eternal Life? ...
Time Is Growing Short! Be Sure Of Your Salvation!
A popular concept is that "It doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you are sincere." However, one must be sincere in believing the right thing. We respect so great dedication to one's belief's and convictions that a man is willing to die for them, but only if we perceive those beliefs and convictions to be correct. If that is not what we perceive, then we naturally think of that man as a fool, and his death as a waste and a tragedy.
The statement that "It doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you are sincere," assumes that any faith is all right and will get you to heaven if you follow it sincerely. But that is not true! A certain pharmacist once received a prescription to fill for barium sulfate, but the druggist used barium sulfite instead, by accident. The difference in the names of the drugs was only one letter, and the client died. The druggist was wrong, sincerely, but sincerely wrong. Just as with the barium compounds, what you believe will get you to heaven is a life and death choice.
Losing one's life is a serious thing, but taking a chance on one's soul by ignoring the differences available in one's eternal destiny is even more serious!
Jesus says, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 7:21). Many will sincerely think that heaven's door will open for them because they prophesied in the name of the Lord, cast out devils in His name, and did many wonderful works. But He will answer them, "I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (vs. 23).
To be saved it is necessary to know the Lord Jesus and to do His will. By no other name, through no other religion, by no works apart from Jesus Christ, may salvation be found.
God's Word can guide you unerringly as you search out the truth of this matter! We read "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalms 119:105), also, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me" (John 5:39).
The Bible clearly teaches that a follower of Christ must live a life of cross-bearing, self-denial, unselfishness, and submission. To disregard these teachings is to be tragically mistaken in our understanding of God's will.
When we repent and Jesus enters our hearts, His Spirit gives us new direction. His Spirit gives witness in us that we are His children. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God" (Romans 8:14,16).
If you have not yet become a Disciple of Jesus Christ, I urge you not wait a moment longer. No sin you have ever committed or are involved with is worth losing your eternal future over. God can and will remove any fascination you have with any evil, performing wondrous miracles of healing within your heart and mind, if you cast yourself at his feet. He is merciful and loves you. Nothing can separate you from God if you will simply make the decision to follow Him. Try it. You will see and understand, as your life improves, as your self-respect increases, and as your ability and joy in overcoming the negative issues and temptations of life grows in leaps and bounds.
Don't be "sincerely mistaken" by turning away from Jesus Christ. He is the ONLY way to earthly joy, and eternal life. All other ways are the ways of death. Accept Jesus as your Savior, repent of your sins, and begin to follow Him today. You won't regret it! Become Christ's Disciple.
